The latest DNA results suggest that Edward DORSEY/DARCY, who was transported to VA by 1642, and moved to Anne Arundel County, MD has a probable Irish origin. He is definitely not descended from Norman D'Arcy who went to England with William the Conqueror. That line includes the DARCYs of Hornsby Castle, which is commonly listed as the ancestry of Edward, the VA/MD immigrant. Rick Saunders
