Kathy, Naturalizations filed in Federal courts are kept by the NARA regions. If the naturalization took place in Federal court in Maryland (as well as DE, PA, VA, or WV)you can email the NARA Mid-atlantic Region at [email protected] At a minimum you should tell them the name of the person, place of residence at the time of naturalization, and approximate date of immigration or naturalization. For naturalizations dated after 9/26/1906 you may also want to include the name of the spouse and children, date of birth, and place of origin (particularly for common names).
