    3. Gail, Most likely it was referring to New Cathedral Cemetery, which is the largest Catholic Cemetery in Baltimore. The old "Cathedral Cemetery" was closed in the 1870's when the new one was opened. New Cathedral is located at 4300 Old Frederick Road. The phone number is 410-566-7770. They have always been very helpful. They have all their records in a computer database, and can probably tell you in a few minutes on the phone where he is buried. Ask them who else is in the same lot. If it's more than a couple names, they can send you a printout listing names and dates of burial in the lot. I don't believe they normally charge, but their great service is worth a donation. 2. mona everett
    3. Hi, Just a quick reminder that the Baltimore SUN on microfilm can be borrowed on inter-library loan thru your local public library. It is free at my library, so is likely free at yours--unless your library charges a fee. Libraries have microfilm readers--often with printers--so you can borrow the films and do your own lookups, too! I do this quite often. Ask your friendly reference librarian! Mona PS--then be sure to post all the "extra" obits on your pages!
