    1. [BALTGEN-L] St. Mary's
    2. Robert A Daly
    3. Hi Mike MULLIKIN, This is from an e-mail from Gary RUPPERT. Records of Saint Mary's Asylum are held by the Associated Catholic Charities. Saint Mary's Asylum is noted to have manuscripts (actually baptismal records) from 1908-1943. Likewise there are manuscript records for Saint Mary's Home (registers from 1812-1833). Finally, there was also a Saint Mary's Industrial School for Boys (register from 1866-1950). The archivist for these records is Mrs Helen Graham whose address is: The Treatment Family Program, 11 East Mount Royal Avenue, 2nd floor, Baltimore, MD 21202-2753. 3. Can anyone give me any information on St. Mary's Industrial School or tell me where I can find information on it? I know it was where Cardinal Gibbons is now and I know Babe Ruth went there. IS there anywhere I can get more of its history? Thanks.

    1. [BALTGEN-L] PRICE
    2. Hi everyone, I have been noticing some PRICE messages and wonder if anyone with PRICE knowledge might have some info. on an Azariah PRICE. He was born in the early 1800's and married Emeline Hindes in 1829 in Baltimore. He is listed on the 1840 census, but only Emeline is listed in 1850 with 3 children. The city directories show him with a store at Pratt and Sharp streets. Also shown in the same area is a John H. PRICE, so I think he may be Azariah's father, but I have no proof of this. I would be very interested in and grateful for any info. that might help me learn about my PRICE line. Thanks so much. Carol Harrison Torrance, CA

    3. There is a section on the Maryland State Archives' website that lists "Marriage References." These are not actual marriage dates, but instead documents that suggest that a marriage did occur--administrative accounts, testamentary proceedings, and other similar probate documents. > From: BALTGEN-D-request@rootsweb.com > Reply-To: BALTGEN-L@rootsweb.com > Date: Tue, 15 Jan 2002 04:00:11 -0700 > To: BALTGEN-D@rootsweb.com > Subject: BALTGEN-D Digest V02 #13 > > beaoq

    1. [BALTGEN-L] Pension Question--Int'l Typographers Union
    2. kim danielsen
    3. My g-grandfather, William Anderson, was b. Baltimore MD 1853, married 1888 and moved his family to NYC about 1905. He d. about 1951 in NYC. He was receiving a pension from the Int'l Typographers Union, for whom he had worked for years. I believe he commuted from Baltimore to Washington DC early on; don't know how that worked once he lived in NYC. Does anyone have any advice on how and where to obtain his pension record? I believe I wrote to the Int'l Typog. Union years ago, but never heard back from them. Thanks for any help, ...Kim Danielsen Yuma, AZ

    3. I an researching Sarah Greer, twin-daughter born to John Greer and Sarah Day Greer; every record that I have ever found on her says she "died young". Most of researchers today believe that to mean she died as an infant. However since the John Greer will has been uncovered in Onslow County, NC; she is listed in that will as Sarah Armstrong. She was born in about 1721. I have Robert W Barnes" BALTIMORE COUNTY MARRIAGES but it is not there. Other children of John and Sarah Day Greer are listed-but not Sarah. She possibly died soon after marriage. Does anyone know of any other source to Baltimore County marriages? Thank you Bea Greer O'Quin/New Orleans, La
