Seeking any information about the Ebenezer United Methodist Church in the area of the Bird River property.Was at one time called the Bird River Chapel. Can anyone explain to me about the Committee of Observation. I know about the Oath of Fidelity and the Committee of Safety, but I just ran into this Committee of Observation. The person I was looking at is listed as: Non-Enroller who was fined by the Committee of Observation in Apr 1776, but apparently enrolled because the fine was remitted June 1776. I was hoping to use this person as a Patriot for DAR, but I am not sure about what this means. Any help is appreciated. Thank you. Sharon
