    3. The LDS has copied (or microfilmed) most of the records, but I can't remember what year it stops. I have used this microfilm before. Also, the gates on Frederick Avenue have been chained for years; more than 10 years I think. You must use the Wilkens Avenue entrance. As you go in the gates, the funeral home is on your right and the office is just behind the funeral home, up an incline and on the right hand side. They have a chapel there also. I'm sorry to hear that you were mugged in that cemetery and your car was damaged. I'm sure that happened on the Frederick Avenue side where the old section is. The office used to be beside those gates, but after it was moved to the Wilkens Avenue side, that's when the vandalism started. My family has been using Loudon Park for about 160 years. I remember when people went there for the day and had picnics there because it was so pretty. I wish you well whenever you go there. I had a very bad experience at Louden Park last summer. I went by myself and was searching in the old section and was mugged. Had my purse stolen and had both windows in my car broken with a brick. Please be careful and I suggest you don't go by yourself or ask at the office if it is possible that one of the cemetery workers can accompany you. Take care, stay safe and good luck in your research. Dee http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~chesapeake/

    3. I'm going to be in the Baltimore area in about a month and want to visit Loudon Park Cemetery to try to find some information about some ancestors buried there. Two years ago I was there but was never able to find the graves & the office people were too busy to help me. It was in the old area of the cemetery and it was extremely confusing to me. I could never even find a marker for the section I was told was where the graves were located. Does anyone have any suggestions for me on how to find these graves? Nancy

    3. Bill, I know you did a look-up for me a year or so ago and didn't find anything, but could you once again check the names Knipp, Dannettell, and Bruning. They all came to Baltimore in 1832 from Germany.
