Does anyone have the 1900 or 1910 Census for Baltimore City and would be willing to look up Sarah E. Riston, Daughters Cora, Mammie and Katie? They are all listed in the 1920 Census for Baltimore, but no father, he may have died by then. The daughters were my grandfathers cousins and I'm trying to establish his family (he was an orphan) through them. Thanks Elberta Riston Ramos

The Baltimore County website, http:// www.rootsweb.com/~mdbaltim is collecting old obits from Baltimore area papers and putting them on line right now I have a little bit over 5,000 obits and death notices on-line. If you have the time to transcribe the death notices you have and E mail them to me I will add them to the on-line collection. Hi Nancy My Catherine R. Gosman was born 1875 in Hopewell, Cumberland, NJ. Elberta
I am most interested in the surname: CHAMBERS, in particular, Campbell Chambers, a merchant in Baltimore city. Born abt. 1787 married in Baltimore in 1807, a possible son, Stewart or Stuart or Steward born in 1810, also a merchant on Saratoga street in 1845-6-7. Married Agnes Jamison (Jamieson) in Balto. Third Preasbytgerian Church on Sept. 17th, 1840. Had three children, Martha, John and Agnes. Steward died in Sept. of 1849, his wife Agnes died in 1854 on W. Poppleton St, Baltimore. Steward and Agnes daughter, Martha married a gentleman named Ward who was from Washington County. There is a strong possibility Agnes was previously married to a Robert Jamison with whom she migrated from Londonderry, Ireland on the ship Alexander. They arrived in Baltimore on June 30th. 1830. Any information would be grately appreciated.
Rose: Thanks for your offer. Could I please have: 24 Mar 1904 (Baltimore American) Hiss, George R. A.
