They had a son, William, born ca. 1861, who may be the William you are looking for. Other children were: Laura, Edward, Sarah U., and Annie. This info is from the 1880 Census though I do not have the cite. Now, in 1885, this John T. Griffith was a carder in a cotton mill, living in Hampden. Try the Maryland State Archives for naturalizations filed in local courts and the NARA Mid-Atlantic Region ([email protected]) for those filed in Federal court in Baltimore. Those filed in Maryland Federal court around 1850 will not have any more information than you already have. I have a few pictures of my grandparents witha group of people. Taken during the early 1940's. My uncle was visiting and identified a few of the people. Most are family except for Charlie Mills and Bucky Hobbs. These were taken in Baltimore city at a nightclub. One picture everyone is unknown. But If there is anyone out there that has a Charlie Mills or a Bucky Hobbs in their family. I will be more then glad to email a copy of the photo. They both look to be in their early to mid 20's.
