GIBSON were connected to the George Washington GIBSON who married Martha Ann Covington in Claiborne Co., MS. I have tried to connect up with the other GIBSON's in MS [Gideon, Levi, etc] to no avail. The G. W. GIBSON m. COVINGTON was a son of Ann Caroline/Carolyn BAKER and Robert Wilson GIBSON. Ann & Robert GIBSON had the following children that I can find record of: A. Mary {Polly} GIBSON b. SC; m. 1] Elephalet ROAN and m. 2] Richard Ward HUDSON; both marriages took place in Claiborne Co., MS. B. George Washington GIBSON b. abt 1811 SC; m. Martha Ann COVINGTON in Claiborne Co., MS. C. Ann Caroline GIBSON b. 25 Jun 1817 SC; d. 8 Jul 1892 Brandywine, Claiborne Co., MS; m. Hiram Washington GOZA in Claiborne Co., MS. I descend from Ann and Hiram. D. Elizabeth Ann GIBSON b. abt MS; m. 1829 Claiborne Co., MS, to Richard HENDERSON. E. John Wilson GIBSON After Robert Wilson GIBSON's death in 1820 Franklin Co., MS, Ann Caroline m. Robert SANDERS in Dec 1820 Claiborne Co., MS. Robert SANDERS was appointed guardian of the GIBSON children. Ann and Robert SANDERS had the following children: A.
