Gibson b. 1823 SC Married Mary Ann Whitaker @ 1845--6 The Whitakers were from Craven Co SC The Gibson Stronghold of SC. and probably knew the Gibsons. They had 5 children(I have names and Birth dates) Rebecca Ann Whitaker b1828.sister of Mary Ann Whitaker married G.W. Gibsons brother Allen J. Gibson b 1821( and they had 4 children) These Girls were the children along with Issac and James Whitaker of Aquilla Whitaker and Mary Kuykendall of SC. Sue McNally replied that she thought Lydia Gibson who married Stencel Price was the sister of G.W. and Allen Gibson. Stencils mother was Ann Gibson from SC.b1770 at the time of the 1850 census and she was living with Lydia and Stancel in Arkansas at that time1850. I have been searching for the father of G.W. and Allen J.Gibson for a long time . Recently I have come to the conclusion that they are the Great Grandsons of either Gideon1746 John b. 1748 or Levi 1750.SC.Almost all of the 3 generation migrated to MS .Give me a E-Mail note Chateaug@ptsi.net and lets work this out together I have 30 years of research on this Gibson line Dr. J.
