This James Baker that left a family in Alabama could be the one. The wife he ran off and left with 4 kids, remarried a man named William Wilson, father born in South Carolina, Mother born in Alabama. As far as the James Baker connection in Georgia, I have always felt that they knew something because the man has the exact same name as my Father and Great Grandfather, James Sanford Baker, but they will not give up anything.
