Mr. Harris, Have you tried looking for marriage bonds for Virginia M. Gregory and her Mr. Baker within the North Carolina's Gilford County records which are posted, located online!! I was able to find marriage bonds for my gggrandparents which showed the bond date that was posted 'before' they were married...those with a later date are also there to be examined.
