As a suggestion, have you contacted 1) http://www.censusfinder.com/massachusetts-genealogy-society.htm which might give you some places to find out what seaport was used to arrive in MA...or was there another colony that was the seaport arrival. (Just because this website is hoping you will join a society, doesn't mean one can't seek other information. 2) Bevery Historical Society, Beverly, MA, since this is one of the last places you know of last visited by your Baker(s)? http://www.beverlyhistory.org/ and Cabot House 117 Cabot St. Beverly, MA 01915 (978) 922 1186 info@beverlyhistory.org 3) A great reference book to seek archic records like those that you will be looking for which tells where to find these records and what they will be is this reference book: "Genealogical Encyclopedia of the Colonia Americas" by Christina K. Schaefer ISBN# 080631576-8 which take in all other areas that the British visited. You won't believe what can be found within this book concerning where records can be found/housed/made accessable, also at the end of every chapter there is a bibliography of suggested reading that is awesome and tells you where to find it. It's worth even an investigation. Rhonda Warmack Houston
