A graveside service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Atlanta Cemetery. Quiram Funeral Home of Atlanta is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Baker was employed as a bookkeeper in the office of Model Paris for 46 years before retiring in 1972. She was born Aug. 12, 1906, in Chicago, the youngest daughter of Edward and Almeda Graham Conklin. She married Charles R. Baker on July 22, 1930, in Atlanta. He died Nov. 25, 1986. She is survived by one nephew, Robert Billiter of Atlanta, and one niece, Marian Zabel of Pittsfield. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Helen Clawson and Georgene Billiter. She was a graduate of Atlanta High School and Brown's Business College. Before her eyesight failed, she enjoyed reading, sewing and watching Illini basketball games on television.
