I have in my possession copies of old black & white and color family photos which were shared with me by the Leonard and Mabel Baker Pennell family from Alexander County, Taylorsville, North Carolina. Some of these old family photos belonged to the late Bessie Clara Pennell who was born in Caldwell County, Lenoir, North Carolina but later moved and died in Alexander County, Taylorsville, North Carolina. After Bessie passed away the old family photos became the possession of Leonard and Mabel Baker Pennell. Leonard is related to the Pennell (Pennel/Pinion), Reed (Reid) and White family surnames in North Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia while Mabel Baker Pennell is related to the Baker, Russell, Pennell (Pennel/Pinion) and Price families from Alabama, North Carolina and North Dakota.. Leonard and Mabel Pennell currently live in the Ellendale Township of Alexander County, Taylor! sville, North Carolina. These pictures could be of the following family surnames: BAKER, REID (REED), RUSSELL, PENNELL (PENNEL/PINION), PRICE & WHITE. If I can help anyone out with a missing link to their genealogy research, then that will make me a much happier person.
