Joseph Baker no birth date known, from ?where? to Frederick Co PA. Married to Mary Baker, signed her name one time Meri Becker. Lived in Frederick Co MD. Two known children Phillip and Catherine. Catherine married John Lane 1805 Fred Co MD--had John Jr born early 1805, Joseph born 1807 (plus 2 more) Oct. 1809 Joseph sold his MD property. By Census 1810 (Aug), Joseph Baker living in Amwell Twp, Washington Co PA and we assume John Lane's family living with Joseph and Mary Baker, based on people in house. John and Catherine Baker Lane had Daniel b. 1810 and Mary A. born ca. 1818 (Have exact dates of the 4 Lane children except Mary A.) Joseph Baker died 1815; -son Phillip Baker died 1816 leaving wife and children -sister Catherine Baker Lane died ca. 1822 leaving husband and children. Joseph Baker had brother? named John Baker. By 1830 John Lane married Susannah McClure b. VA ---moved to Ripley Co IN By 1830 Joseph Lane married Anna Dager -- moved to Carroll Co Ohio where other Dagers lived. Daniel married Anna England and stayed in Washington Co PA Mary A. Lane m. Samuel Flowers and stayed in Washington Co PA I think Phillip Baker was m. to a BAIL. The LANEs in MD and Washington Co PA were German Baptist Brethren. Not sure of Bakers except that they were German; Jos Baker had Bible in Dutch. I cannot find anyone researching "my" Bakers.
