Baker. Census Info says she was born in New York, and both of her parents were born in England. Oldest generation I have is Henry Olrich (born Aug 1854, died October 1928) married to Anna E. Baker (born Dec 1855, died October 1922).They were married @ 1875 (+/- 5 years seems I have listed a child born in 1873) in New York. Their children were: Ollie Olrich, (Olive, born March 1877) married Hugh M. Magee Mary F. Olrich (born July 1883, died March 1965), married to Charles W. Lundy. Jean E. Olrich (born Jan 1887, died July 1924), unmarried at age 33 (she died from complications of a tonsilectomy) Laura D. Olrich (born 2/1879, died 3/1902) married to Sylvenus D. Lewis (my great-grandfather) Frank H. Olrich (born Sept 1882, died June 1967) William E. Olrich (born Oct 1873, died April 1942) * I have him also listed as William Charles Olrich, so i'm unsure of the middle name on this one) Anyone with any info on this family or their marriages, children or other, please reply to me qntara@aol.com or reply to this message board. From content of letter, i believe it was written soon after or during war in Germany, because it said soemthing about daughters missing husband, and confirmed brother of daughter was dead, I assume war related, and possibly this could have been William, if he died in 1942, although i could be wrong. Thanks to anyone with any info on these family/families! Also, families lived in northern usa, upstate new york - syracuse, renssalear, onedaga? -- many buried in syracuse --Oakwood Cemetary, Syracuse, NY~ large family plot (about 21 relatives buried there)
