Wonder if that is where the name come from? I show John's parents as Christopher Baker and Nancy Mary Osborn and Nancy (43) was living in Catharine, Chemung Co, New York in 1850 (per census, as head of household) with Freeman (22) and another son Benjamin (19) and an 8 year old girl named Ann Belle Baker (born in Ireland but am not sure of the relation to the family...) Does any of this help or hinder? Or even make sense? Amy
