You are talking about the family of James Russell Baker of Tioga County, NY, I assume. I would love to know more about his descendents, since I got stopped on that like after Delos. I don't know anything about Abial's parentage and can't seem to find him. Various "cousins" I have met on the internet have theories about his origins, but I have not found data to verify those theories. I do know about his marriage, his military record, and some of his children and I would be happy to share what I have with you.
