Her mother died in 1961 and she was adopted out. She was born Debra Kay Ingman (her father was Ivan Ingman) in Walla Walla on March 14, 1955. The name she was going by when her mom (Jeanine) died was Debra Kay Baker. When Jeanine died on 7-29-61, Debbie was staying in a foster home on Washington street in Kennewick that was run by a woman named Ruby Rogers (Ruby is no longer alive); and Debbie was going to East Gate Elementary School in Kennewick.
