    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: BAKER Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/JCC.2ACEB/6902.1.1 Message Board Post: I do not know Rev. Nathan Baker's siblings nor parents, only that his pension papers said he was born 14 Apr 1760 Woodbury, Litchfield Co., CT. He married Lucy NORTON of the same place. He is not the Nathan that died in 1803. There were at least six Nathan Baker's living in the area of Pompey during the same time period. Three of them even attained the same Church. I'd love to be able to go there someday and sort them out. If you go to the Onondaga Co., N.Y. Rootsweb message board you can find some discussion on some of them. My Rev. Nathan fought in the Rev. War when he was 16 and several people have joined the DAR and SAR under his name, and there are also many of Nathan Bakers who where in that war. My Nathan died in 20 Oct 1836 Rega/Chili, Monroe Co., N.Y. many of his family moved to WI then MI, CO and elsewhere.
