Yesterday I asked for information on the parents of Lottie BAKER who married Elmer PENNELL in Huron County, Ohio, in 1893. In the 1920 census they are listed with three sons: Charles, Vaugh, and Elmer. Baker, age 37, born New York Mary, age 36, born Connecticut Lucina, age 11, born Ohio William C., age 8, born Ohio Frank, age 4, born Ohio Are these 1850 and 1880 families familiar to anyone on this list? My interest in this family is to find out how Lottie Baker or husband Ernest Pennell is connected to the Van Scoy-Knapp reunion of descendants of Abraham VAN SCOY (1788-1849), Cornelius Van Scoy (1800-1884), James Van Scoy (1807-1860), or Brundage KNAPP (1773-1866). All three Van Scoy men were born in New York, and all four men died in Huron County, Ohio. Cornelius and James were brothers, and Abraham was their first cousin.
