Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/JCC.2ACEB/8682 Message Board Post: There are several Bakers in this book including a John Baker who sailed from England to "the island of Providence" (I'm assuming Rhode Island) in 1635 - entire passenger list of that ship in the book. Also in persons examined in 1637 in England there is the family of a John Baker including a son named Thomas (no age given for Thomas). Their destination is given as "Charles Towne" (Again I am assuming this is referring to Charlestown, now a part of Boston). Are these people connected to Thomas Baker who worked with Roger Williams in Rhode Island? Anyone know? Any other Bakers I should be on the lookout for in the book or related families? Just let me know and I'll post the info here.
