    3. When I give out this information on how to search for Baker, I am sharing this only for the reason that I was astonished as to how much genealogical material on the Bakers has already been compiled and is presently available.. If one has the time, go to this website http://catalog.loc.gov Personally, I was somewhat apprehensive as to try to tackle this way of looking for information, but as I tried it out, I found it was easy and couldn't believe all the information that is already available. If someone is interested in trying this, all one has to do is Go to the Basic Search using "keyword" and place into the search engine in small letters and a + in front of the second word: genealogy +baker and then hit the search button! I just couldn't believe the references that came up!! You might give this a try just to SEE the references one can find already written about Baker(s) and all one has to do is obtain the ISBN# (International Standard Book Number) which is provided, that needs to be given to the local librarian and can be found within any state library system and all you have to do is wait for the book to arrive which is included/listed in the Library of Congress' online catalog. I was just amazed as to the genealogies concerning Baker already written and that came be obtained for free at my library with only an ISBN number...Some of these reference books I've found are of Baker(s) from all the different states in the Union and some from abroad, and I know I've seen inquires for information for all of these on this list.
