Surnames: Baker Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/JCC.2ACEB/3437.3543 Message Board Post: my great grandfather is William David Baker and he married Leannah unknow last name in 1891 per census i have not been able to find his parents.or record of marriage William David Baker was living in Spencer,Jennings County Indiana in 1880 with George and Ellen Smith and listed as newphew he is 13 years old born 1867 Indiana and his father listed as born iowa and mother born indiana in 1900 he is still in Spencer ,Jennings Co indiana William D Baker 33 b Oct 1866 married 9 years born indiana and parents born unknown Leanah V Baker wife b Jan 1870 age 30 married 9 years 3 children and 3 living she is born Indiana and father born Ohio and Mother born indiana children Leonard Baker ,(My grandfather)b1893 May b 1896 Roy b 1898 all children born indiana they then moved to Milam County Texas and census 1910 Milam county children there are Leonard,May,Roy,ruth,and Russell they moved to Anderson Co Tx in 1920 and Cherokee co tx in 1930 i see that nothing matches your records but are hoping that someone got some of the information incorrect. i have not been able to locate father of William Baker and no marriage records in Jennings Co or indiana for them i had it searched .that might be her middle name.but couldnt find anything for them.
