I am looking for information on the parentage of Laura Baker (born Feb. 25, 1797 in either New York or Connecticut). She was the wife of John Tompkins, born Jan 30, 1797 in New York. They were married September 27, 1817. They had six children: Orin Bishop Tompkins, Solomon Tompkins Elijah Obadiah Tompkins Dan Darling Tompkins Millicent Tompkins Caroline Tompkins.
