Theophelus Davis b. 1816 MO married Winery Jane Scantlin. When Theophelus died in 1864, she later married William Baker b. 1818 TN. I am looking for the parents of Winery Jane Scantlin, who has given various birth dates/places on censuses; it is sometime between 1821-1830 in OH, IL, TN, and MO. I'm also looking for the parents of Theophelus Davis's parents as well. His first name is spelled various ways; depending on the census taker. I do not know the correct spelling of his first name. Possibly, Theopalis, Theopolis, Theophilus, Theopholus, etc. Do you you have any info on these people - they are my third g-grandparents. Thanks.
