Looking for information related to 'Ella May' married to Charles Richardson and living in Cayuga county NY around 1900. I have reason to believe her ('Ella May's) last name was 'Baker'. My great Grandfather (Jay D. Richardson) had a letter from Cayuga county responding to his request for adoption information - which they had none. However, they did send him a 'birth certificate' that had the name 'Clifton Baker' on it. Jay D. Richardson / Clifton Baker also pre-dates the marraige of Ella May and Charles Otis Richardson by 3 years. (Born approx jan 16 1893, Ella May / Charles married abt 1896.) 1900 Census attached. (See lines 74-77). I have hit a bit of a wall here. *any* info would be appreciated. Cheers Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. Greetings, I am currently looking for information on two different Baker families, both of which are from Pennsylvania. First, I am looking for the ancestors of a Martha Baker (parents George and Barbara Lemmon Baker) from Madison, Westmoreland, PA. Martha's first marriage, to a John A. Black, produced a daughter named Lucetta Hannah Black, my 2nd great-grandmother. (My mother has a "death certificate" for John A. Black which lists as family Martha Gross, and Lucetta and Sarah Black. Not sure who Sarah is!) Also, I am looking for descendents of John Adam Baker, III, husband of Marie Elizabeth Silvius. John Adam Baker is my 5th great=grandfather. I am looking for descendents of him simply because in my possession is a book that was produced in 1922 listing the descendents to that point, including my grandmother/great-grandmother (because of an adoption, she was both!). My hope is to put together an update of that book by the time it turns 90 years old. Any help would be appreciated. Richard McClelland Simpson, III Researching most of Westmoreland County, PA :)
