Here is what I know thus far: >From census records of his children, he appears to have been born in Pennsylvania. He married Alice A. Wightman, also from Pennsylvania, just before 1900. They had two children (that we know of), Eleanor May Baker, born about 1900, and Millard Fillmore "Pete" Baker Jr., born about 1907. Family stories indicate that Millard Fillmore Baker Sr. had been married previously, and had a daughter Alice, from this previous marriage. Further family stories indicate that when he died, Alice (his widow) moved to Pittsburgh. The Pittsburgh City Directory for 1910 confirms this, noting an Alice Baker, widow of Millard Baker, and an address that matches the 1910 Census. Alice Baker does not appear in any of the earlier directories, indicating to me a probable year of death for Millard Fillmore Baker Sr. of 1909.
