I don't know yet. My gggrandfather Henry(Harry)Wynn Baker married Permelia Trotman (1st of 4 wives). I have not been able to connect her definitively yet but suspect she is descended from Rev. Quinton H. Trotman, one of the founders of what is now Chowan College and the first pastor of Sandy Cross Baptist Church. That may be the same Trotman family. If the information on Sallysfamilyplace.com is correct, many Bakers married Trotmans. I agree that we will find a link somewhere.
