She m. 11 Mar 1900 - Shelby Co., AL to Benjamin Franklin Caldwell, b. 20 Mar 1881 - AL/d. c. 1956 - prob. AL. They had several children, but the only ones I know of were a son William, d. aged 5 yrs.; a dau. Elizabeth, d. aged 3 yrs.; my great-grandmother Bessie Mae, b. 02 Sep 1908; a stillborn, d. 05 Feb 1920. Minnie was part Creek Indian, and had an ancestor (unsure of whether it may have been her father, grandfather, etc.) who wore a tall hat with which he kept his money in. Minnie, Bessie, and Bessie's hus., Fred Carroll, moved to GA c. 1920-1925. Minnie, Benjamin, and Bessie worked in the cotton mill.
