I am also a descendant of John Renta Baker, through his son Robert "Julius Bob" Baker and Elizabeth Hammond. My Andrew Burns married Nancy Ann Baker, Robert's daughter. Would it be to much to ask you if you could send me the document from 1889, I would love to have it. I just wish I could have known him. Do you know if John Renta was ever in Virginia? Also, I think the Baker's married into the McItnosh/DeWeese family, am I correct? If so, we are descendants of Ferdinand I, Holy Roman Emperor and King. You would surprised at the Queens and Kings we are descended from. All Q & K of England, Bavaria, Spain, Italy, and Russia. I have a very large document on the McIntosh/DeWeese Families. The man who did this document, spent years gathering documented evidence of the McIntosh/DeWeese Family. He did a great job of it. One of the people through them was one of Ferdinand's daughters married into the de'Medici Family of Italy. Please send the document, I haven't been able to find a tremendous amount of John Renta. Would love to have some stories about him, but I doubt they exist. If you would like to see the document I mentioned, let me know and I will email it to you. It is way too large to post here.
