On the 1860 Columbia Co., GA census B(erry) C's wife Emeline is only 18 yoa, 8 years his junior. On the 1870 Warren Co., GA census Emeline is 24 yoa, 9 years Berry's junior. On the 1880 Columbia Co., GA census Emaline is 40 yoa, 5 years Berry C's junior. None of these censuses show wife Eme(a)line to be old enough to have been married to Berry(man) on the 1850 census. Emaline BAKER, Berry C's older sister, married Charles J MARSHALL about 1852 and is on the 1860 Warren Co., GA census with her husband 4 children, mother Lourene (BTES) Baker and a younger brother Wilson (Jonathan) BAKER who died in service CW.
