Philip Peter Becker (Baker) came on the same ship as Nicholas Bittmann (Pitman). They were thought to be cousins and the Windle family came from the same area as well. Daniel Bly has written From The Rhine to the Shenandoah which includes the history of these three families. Another reference is the History of Shenandoah County by Wayland. These books are available in the archives of Handley Library in Winchester. While the Henry Baker family of Winchester, VA, was also from Germany they were not from Framersheim and I have found no connection to them and the Philip Baker family.
