I have a copy of the book ""A Genealogy of the Descendants of Edward Baker, of Lynn 1630" This book was published in 1867 and written by Nelson Baker, a descendant of Edward & Joan Baker. In this book, there is no mention of a daughter named Elizabeth. The only female descendant is Mary Baker. I have also seen information that shows a daughter named Elizabeth that married John Witt, but I doubt it is correct. The above mentioned book has proven to be a very good source of info on Edward's descendants. I can't shed any light on who may be the parents of Elizabeth. She married Josiah Baker 22 August 1867 in Koscuisko Co., IN. Josiah was born in 1843. I am hoping this Catherine Dixon, b 1846 is a menber of my Dixon family. My Catherine was born 1846 in Licking Co., OH. Her family also lived in Fairfield Co., OH then went to Indiana and I found her parents and younger siblings in Ringgold Co., Iowa. I hope you have found something to confirm my suspicions. If you know the names of any siblings of Catherine, this will help.
