    1. [BAKER] Henry/Harry Baker and Harriet Tippett, m. 1866 Franklin Co., NC
    2. Anne Scholz
    3. I am trying to locate anyone researching the Henry (Harry) Baker family from Franklin Co., NC. Henry was married to Caroline Brown (incorrectly listed on documents as Braim), Delia Thompson Reid, and Harriet Tippett (m. 1866). I am most interested in one of his children, Lawrence Perry Baker (b. 1861). Any help will be most graciously appreciated. Anne

She died in the '50s or so. I have tried to find her descendants, but all I could find was that she had a son killed in WWI. Could this be a relation? My great great grandfather Baker had several siblings who moved to CA. from KY. Author: peterjardine_1 Surnames: Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/surnames.baker/14503.2.1/mb.ashx Message Board Post: Thanks but probably not the one unless he had an earlier marriage. My original post was rather confused. My William Baker was the father of Elizabeth Baker born C1830, Whitechapel. Elizabeth married William Tucker in Sep 1851, Whitechapel. William Baker was a Mariner. Elizabeths address is given as Rupert Street however the 1851 census shows her with William Tucker in Gowers Walk. Sarah I thought may have been William Bakers Wife having found a likely candidate on the 1841 census in Whiterchapel with a 10 year old daughther Elizabeth, however this William Baker was a Basket Maker at that time and I have since found him on the 1851 census still a Basket Weaver hence also probably not the one.
