I'd like any information you might have, as I have an ancestor who I believe is a descendant of Zebediah, or at least a relative of him, but I can't tie her in, and I have no proof of her last name. She was Nancy ____ wife of Thomas Henderson, and she and Thomas lived next door to Ezias and Rhoda Baker in Searcy County, AR on the 1850 Census. Ezias was a son of Zebediah. Willis Baker has a common ancestor with my line and he is ... Cotton Mather. My line connects through Ruth Mather/ Casterline whose ancestry connects to Cotton Mather, ergo ... we do have a common ancestor about four hundred years ago, even if it is not directly through the BAKER surname. How weird is that? Two Bakers, in the Same County, not knowing they have a common ancestor through marriages, and yet they don't know they are distantly related? I notice that there are quite a number of BAKER obituaries in the Canadian Obituaries Forum at http://www.genealogybuff.com/canada-bbs/webbbs_config.pl when using the search engine at the top of the page. Hope this helps. Bill
