    3. Bettye, The letter "J" is pronounced as a "Y" in German. Those names are the same. You can't change your name that way and hide. In fact, there is a Henry Jentz in the 1900 census, b: Jan 1864, im: 1882 living in Dixon Co, NB. In the 1910, 1920 and 1930 he is Henry Yentz and is living in Spring Creek, OK.
