But someday you might discover a new name in your family history and one way to look for info on a new name is to go to archives and punch in a search. All of the matches from the search requests that have been submitted thus far will show up in the results, and you will not only have the info Marvin found, but a link to the person who requested it. I am a descendant of two German immigrants. They came to the USA in the mid-1850s. I did not know about this index before but would be very interested if they appear in the index. I have listed a father, his 3 sons, and 2 son-in-laws below. Their last name is spelled different ways. It could be Thraen, Thren, or even Thrain.
