In case this helps, my relative Christian Hirtzel made the same trip, but from the Alsace. My relatives recorded the story of him (and his family) arriving in New Orleans, and after much searching through the LDS site, I found the right ship passenger list. I think that I maybe obtained the film of the purported year of their arrival (1832) from the LDS, and then ordered the film, and scanned the film until I found them (with a "Hirzel" spelling).
