    3. Stuart, There are 3 Bechmanns on the list. Two were from Rotenfels - Both were Robert with no way on knowing if they were related. I expect they were. They were: Name--Bechmann, Robert Birth Place-- Record--1603 Number--2045 Name Variation-- Residence--Rotenfels Profession-- Sex--m Nationality--D Age-- Year Held--1849 Country of Origin--Baden Region--Rastatt Revolutionary Army--Yes Militia--Yes Single--Yes Married--no Biography--Wehrmann des 1. Aufgebots von Rotenfels, ab 29. Juli 1849 als Gefangener im Rastatter Fort B aufgeführt Name--Bechmann, Robert Birth Place-- Record--1604 Number--2046 Name Variation-- Residence--Rotenfels Profession--Militär Soldat Sex--m Nationality--D Age--22 Year Held--1849 Country of Origin--Baden Region--Rastatt Revolutionary Army--Yes Militia--No Single--No Married--No Biography--Soldat der Pionier-Kompanie der Artillerie, ab 29. Juli 1849 als Gefangener im Rastatter Fort A aufgeführt (49 / 2410*: 3). Steckbrief vom Mai 1851 (GAMK, 1851, S. 201, 325). I suspect that "Single--No" and "Married--No" was a typo, but it's not mine! There are also 16 Bachmanns on the list - - but none of those were from Rotenfels. . 3. Marvin I am looking for inforamtion on a Louis Geringer (or Gehringer, Gerringer).  All I know is he was from Baden but I don't know where in Baden. I found him and his sister in the 1850 US census living with another German family in Ohio and he was 16 or 17 at that time.  Don't know when he came to the US.   Marlene ________________________________ From: Marvin Hoerig <[email protected]> To: Stuart Bechman <[email protected]>; [email protected] Sent: Sunday, March 18, 2012 2:36 PM Subject: Re: [BW] RAAB Index Stuart, There are 3 Bechmanns on the list.  Two were from Rotenfels - Both were Robert with no way on knowing if they were related.  I expect they were.
