I would like to send a message to those that were disturbed by the 'excessive' posts regarding the RAAB index. You may not have any particular interest in the names that are being posted, and find it annoying to have your email inbox overflowing with posts. But someday you might discover a new name in your family history and one way to look for info on a new name is to go to archives and punch in a search. All of the matches from the search requests that have been submitted thus far will show up in the results, and you will not only have the info Marvin found, but a link to the person who requested it. With all the requests being submitted privately, the very name you might be seeking will never show up.
