I havn´t indexed 1854 yet, but from the emigration index already in the book there are - Christ. Haas 143 Christian Haas 341 Johann Haas 132 Johann Georg Haas 479 Karl Haas 31 Kath. Haas 443 Margaretha Haas 341 Sabina Haas 341 all emigrating in 1854. If Jakob was 8 years old, he almst certainly emigrated with his family., and may be the son of one of the above. The numbers are the page number for the entry. I write them to maybe save time later. As Christian, Margaretha and Sabina are all on page 341 I suspect the are siblings. Jon
