I recommend a YAHOO! group called transcribe. It is a free service for people who have problems transcribing old German documents, parish records... Here is the URL: http://www.transcribe-group.com/ The list owner can be emailed at [email protected] The YAHOO! group page is at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/transcribe/ To make use of the service, one must upload one page documents to the website. Volunteers transcribe and/or translate from the old German. I have used this service several times with excellent results.
