First, let me say,thank you for the work you"re doing. My known Haug line goes from my wife Melba (Haug) McCullar back to Johann George Haug Sr. died 1689 Hirshau. Second, looking for family of Christian Sauter 1751-1798 whose daughter Magdalena married Johanns Haug 3/22/1810 in Wurmlingen. Third, Zacharias Gross 8/20/1783- died Wurmlingen 11/25/1858 whose daughter Maria married Joseph Haug 10/29/1839, Wurmlingen. Zacharias' parents were Josephus Gross & Christina Millerin. A "family sheet", obtained from an "official" in Rottenburg, for Zacharias says that he fought under Napolian was knighted & awarded the French Legion of Honor by Napolian.
