Hello For those of you reasearching the Appel surname, I have a Herman Appel who married a Johanna Umbach in 1884 in the Kitchener-Waterloo area of Ontario. Herman's parents were Peter Appel (born Jun 7, 1825) and Julia Kaiser (Jun 22, 2833). Any connection, as I can give you their descendents.
