    3. I know 42 or 83 cents per day doesn't sound like much to many people but when you are on a small fixed income, need to keep a roof over your head and food on your table and take meds to survive, it leaves for the luxury of expensive research. $300 to some of us is a lot of money and as much as I would like to do more research on my ancestors, that fee is from my reach. I can only search on the free sites and would love to know what others might be out there for those in the same position as me. Arden > Roger, I totally agree. 3. I go back and forth. I find a yearly subscription a bit pricey, so when ever I wanted to do some research or verify or compare info I had found on other sites I'd get a monthly world subscription and renew it as I needed to. Now I see they have raised their monthly prices, but it is still worth the small investment. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Arden" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Monday, April 02, 2012 4:09 PM Subject: Re: [BW] Ancestry.com >I know 42 or 83 cents per day doesn't sound like much to many people but > when you are on a small fixed income, need to keep a roof over your head > and > food on your table and take meds to survive, it leaves for the luxury of > expensive research. $300 to some of us is a lot of money and as much as I > would like to do more research on my ancestors, that fee is from my reach. > I > can only search on the free sites and would love to know what others might > be out there for those in the same position as me. > > Arden > > >> Roger, I totally agree. 3. I don't know about other areas, but the Toledo/Lucas County (OHIO) Library system has paid for Ancestry.com and it can be used at any library branch for FREE.
