Just wondering, since the source of SSDI is federal, is there a .gov site? I try to always use a public library subscription to Ancestry, so my access is free. Occasionally I will use one of their holiday weekend or two week specials when I can schedule a lot of lookups in one fell swoop but they seem to restrict that to 1x per year. Unfortunately their focus appears to be more profit oriented than providing a public service. I too have wondered about the monopoly issue, they seem intent on cornering the market. dc
