    3. Good luck with that! Joanne/ Johanna Susanna Weiser was born April 30, 1809, in Germany, I have a clue in Wurttemberg. Now, I've asked here how I might locate her birth record. In context (logic suggests that the Wurrttemberg entry in the family entry in the census belongs to her and not to her Pennsylvania-born son in law) she was probably born in the KINGDOM or DUCHY of Wurttemberg and not the city of that name. I've been told on this list that I can only find her in church records if I knew the name of the town or village where she was born. She married Jacob Weiss, who was born 3 Mar 1802 in Switzerland. Jacob may be his first name or only his call name, but from 1840 on he doesn't seem to have been known by any other. They were married in Pennsylvania; she was his second wife. They lived in Highspire, Lower Swatara township, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania. They had five daughters who lived and had children. A number of her descendants have trees at Ancestry. I don't know where in wurttemberg he lived. He died in Steubenville, Ohio, in 1849 in the cholera epidemic. Does anyone have a lead?
