FISCHER I am searching for information and or leads concerning William J. Fischer. Would like to hear from any connecting families to William J. Fischer. William was married to Catharine Boyer (maybe Beyer) about 1872. Catharine and daughters Caroline 9yrs, Anna Pauline 8yrs., Pauline Katherine 6 yrs., and Emma 3 yrs. immigrated to the US and arrived in New York on 12 November 1881. William was not traveling with them. Family information says that Pauline Katherine (my Grandmother) was born in Stuttgart in 1875. Family information also says William J Fischer was the husband and father. How do I find out if William ever came to the US???? Any leads appreciated.
